Intelligent safety in the BMW 7 Series.
The safety system in the BMW 7 Series uses state-of-the-art sensor technology to ensure that the Sedan’s occupants have the protection they need, when they need it. Just five milliseconds is all the system takes to detect an impact, calculate its severity, recognize which of the ten airbags needs to be deployed and to inflate them to the correct degree. At the same time, the occupant restraint system and Active Headrests (if the optional Comfort Seats are fitted) are activated as required.
